According to Yonhap News,
Wando-gun, Jeonnam-do (South Jeolla Province) said on July 30th that it won the grand prize in Marine Product Business Evaluation of the province.
Wando-gun was highly evaluated in its efforts to grow the fishing industry on a commercial basis, advance marine product processing, establish and attract distribution companies, and launch a system for marine product sales.
Especially, the interest and willingness of the county head of Wando-gun received much higher grades than other cities and counties.
The county was also awarded three grand prizes and five excellence prizes in Business Evaluation of Jeonnam-do since 2002.
